As I was looking at the photos to figure out what to write here, all I could think of was Damn that thing looks good. Ben Desjardins just put together a new mudreded out Partymaster V2, as clean as it gets. Have a look below for all the details, more photos and a few words from the man himself.

This year brings a few touchups to a setup that hasn’t seen change in a very long time. We start off with a fresh new The Rise Partymaster frame in BMX spacing of course. New RockShox Pike DJ fork, fresh new ODI longneck grips, new Odyssey pedals, finally back to a halflink chain, and most importantly: no more tanwall tires.

My old NS Enigma rims have held up for 12 years and since there are no viable options for 36 hole rims, they got a paintjob they desperately deserved. Best rims I’ve ever had and they’ll stay on my bike til I’m too old to ride (soon?).

Some weird quirky stuff specific to my bike: I run a wide non-driveside BB spacer on both sides of my cranks. The spindle is long enough and provides more space for LHD sprocket clearance. My cranks are on backwards like always even though they don’t have to be. I like how the pedal bodies sit further back.

Once again, the best frame with the best parts. You just can’t beat it!
