Why Chase Hawk Won the X-Games
There is an intersting read over on RIDE about the bowl competition at the X-Games and all the drama that happened after Chase Hawk took the win. Personally, I am more than happy to see that Chase took the win as it was a Bowl contest, not a Best Trick contest as X-Games usually end up being. Having Chase Hawk as the winner can only be good for the sport as it shows younger kids that riding BMX isn't only about tricks, but also about flow and amplitude. This is in no case a post to disrespect the other riders that competed, everyone rode great and there was a tight battle for the first place.
